PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric driving device and an electric power steering device which are capable of having their lengths shortened in an axial direction, radiating heat of a power circuit part and a power conversion circuit part efficiently to the outside, and moreover, having the power conversion circuit part downsized.SOLUTION: In the invention, heat radiation parts 15A, 15B for transferring heat generated at least in a power circuit part 17 and a power conversion circuit part 16 to a motor housing 11, are provided at an end face part 15 of the motor housing 11 on the opposite side of an output part of a rotation shaft 23 of an electric motor. Further, a power conversion circuit part fixing member 35 having a repulsive function member 36 is attached to an end face part surrounding the rotation shaft, and the repulsive function member 36 is used to press and hold the electric power conversion circuit part 16 against the heat radiation part. By transferring heat generated at the power circuit part and the power conversion circuit part to the end face part of the motor housing, a heat sink member can be eliminated and thereby an axial length can be shortened. Further, because the repulsive function member is used to press and hold the power conversion circuit part against the heat radiation part, fixing bolts can be eliminated and thereby the power conversion circuit part can be downsized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
【課題】軸方向の長さをできるだけ短くすると共に、電源回路部や電力変換回路部の熱を効率よく外部に放熱することができ、更には電力変換回路部を小型化することができる電動駆動装置及び電動パワーステアリング装置を提供することにある。【解決手段】電動モータの回転軸23の出力部とは反対側のモータハウジング11の端面部15に、少なくとも電源回路部17及び電力変換回路部16で発生した熱をモータハウジング11に伝熱させる放熱部15A、15Bを形成した。また、回転軸の周囲の端面部に弾発機能部材36を有する電力変換回路部固定部材35を取り付け、弾発機能部材36によって電力変換回路部16を放熱部に押圧、保持した。電源回路部及び電力変換回路部で発生した熱をモータハウジングの端面部に伝熱させることで、ヒートシンク部材を省略して軸方向の長さを短くできるようになる。更に、弾発機能部材によって電力変換回路部を放熱部に押圧、保持したので、固定ボルトを省略して電力変換回路部を小型化することができる。【選択図】図9
