PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration and damaging caused by repeated load application of cross wind during each traveling though a sound-proof wall is installed along a wayside because large noise and strong cross wind are generated during high-speed railway vehicle traveling.SOLUTION: A portion up to the lower section of the root part of the automatic connector cover of the head carriage of a high-speed railway vehicle is formed with the same width as that of the carriage, a gradual ascending slope is formed from a tip toward a rear side, a flow-rectifying dome is attached to the rear part of the connector cover, and a transparent reinforced-glass against-wind rear-discharge body is attached to both sides of the ascending slope. Thus, as the full against-wind received by the head carriage is discharged rearward, noise and cross wind are greatly reduced. Therefore, as inhabitants along the wayside are not bothered, and the sound-proof wall is prevented from being deteriorated or damaged, research expenses conventionally necessary for eliminating the noise and the cross wind of the head carriage can be used for researches in other fields.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】高速鉄道車両が走行すると強大な騒音と横風圧が発生するため、沿線に防音壁を設置しているが、走行する度に横風圧の繰り返し荷重を受けて劣化、損傷する。【解決手段】高速鉄道車両の先頭車の自動連結器カバーの付け根部分の下部まで、客車と同じ巾に形成し、該先端から後方に向け緩傾斜の昇り坂を形成し、連結器カバーの後部に整流ドームを取り付け、昇り坂の両側には透明の強化ガラス入りの向い風後送体を取り付けて構成した。これにより、先頭車が受ける全向い風を後方に流すので、騒音と横風圧は著しく減少する。したがって、沿線住民に迷惑をかけないと共に防音壁は劣化、損傷しないので、従来、必要とした先頭車の騒音と横風圧をなくすための研究費を他の分野の研究に回すことができる。【選択図】図1
