PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light detector which can suppress influence of solar light or light from an adjacent light emission unit and can precisely detect light from a light emission unit as a detection target, and a parking lot congestion detector using the light detector.SOLUTION: Solar light reflected by a substrate 61 can be prevented from directly entering a light reception unit 79. A light detector 31 is formed so that light from an LED 63 as a detection target directly enters the light reception unit 79 and light from the LED 63 therearound as a non-detection target does not directly enter the light reception unit 79.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】 太陽光や隣接する発光部からの光の影響を抑えて、検出対象の発光部からの光を高精度に検出できる光検出装置と、それを用いた駐車場満空検出装置を提供することである【解決手段】 基板61で反射した太陽光が受光部79に直接入光しないようにできる。検出対象のLED63からの光が受光部79に直接入光し、その周囲に位置する非検出対象のLED63からの光が受光部79に直接入光しないように光検出装置31構成されている。【選択図】図4
