PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank for a saddle-riding type vehicle which employs a titanium material for reducing a weight and which can acquire a high shape accuracy.SOLUTION: An upper side half body flange part 30a is provided over whole periphery of a lower end part of an upper side half body 30 along a plane H, and a lower side half body flange part 50a is provided over whole periphery of an upper end part of a lower side half body 50 along the plane H. The upper side half body 30 and the lower side half body 50 are formed of a titanium material, and in top view from a vertical direction of the plane H, straight parts T1 and T2 where outer edges of the upper side half body flange part 30a and the lower side half body flange part 50a form a straight line are formed. On a side surface US of the upper side half body 30 and a side surface DS of the lower side half body 50, recess parts 51, 56, 36 and 37 and salient parts 60, 61 and 62 are provided.
