PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation of a battery in a battery control system of a hybrid vehicle and improve power performance in EV traveling.SOLUTION: A battery control system includes a controller which controls discharge power of a battery. The controller expands a discharge allowable power from the battery during EV traveling in comparison with HV traveling, and calculates a base allowable power that is the discharge allowable power during HV traveling and a maximum allowable power that is the maximum value of the discharge allowable power during EV traveling. The controller calculates, during EV traveling, the expanded amount of the discharge allowable power during EV traveling by multiplying a smaller coefficient among a first deterioration coefficient K1 based on increment with respect to an initial value of an internal resistance value of the battery and a second deterioration coefficient K2 based on the lapse time of battery use by difference between the maximum allowable power and the base allowable power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ハイブリッド車両のバッテリ制御システムにおいて、バッテリの劣化を抑制し、かつ、EV走行時の動力性能を高くすることである。【解決手段】バッテリ制御システムは、バッテリに対する放電電力を制御する制御装置を含む。制御装置は、EV走行時ではHV走行時よりも、バッテリからの放電許容電力を拡大させ、HV走行時における放電許容電力であるベース許容電力と、EV走行時における放電許容電力の最大値である最大許容電力とを算出する。制御装置は、EV走行時において、バッテリの内部抵抗値の初期値に対する増加量に基づく第1劣化係数K1と、バッテリの使用経過時間に基づく第2劣化係数K2とのうち、値の小さい係数を、最大許容電力とベース許容電力との差分に乗じてEV走行時の放電許容電力の拡大量を算出する。【選択図】図2
