PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for a vehicle, a mobile terminal, and a program capable of suppressing battery consumption of the mobile terminal used in the vehicle.SOLUTION: A communication system 100 for vehicle comprises: a measuring instrument 10 installed in a vehicle; and a mobile terminal 20 capable of performing radio communication directly or indirectly with the measuring instrument 10. The mobile terminal 20 comprises: acquisition means for acquiring vehicle information related to the vehicle (for example, position information); and transmission controlling means for transmitting data related to the vehicle information acquired by the acquisition means (for example, navigation data) to the measuring instrument 10 at a first cycle. The transmission means transmits the data at a second cycle, which is longer than the first cycle, to the measuring instrument 10 when a variation amount in a predetermined period of the vehicle information is within a predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
