PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control unit for a vehicular fuel cell, which can suppress oxidation-reduction reaction on a catalyst layer of the fuel electrode and the air electrode of the fuel cell even surplus power is generated in regenerative control of a motor, and thereby, can securely prevent degradation of the catalyst layer caused by platinum agglomeration/elution.SOLUTION: In regenerative control of a motor 2 corresponding to accelerator release operation during traveling of a vehicle, when the whole of a regenerative electric power Wmot thereof and an output power of a fuel cell 4a can be charged to a secondary battery 3, power is charged to the secondary battery 3 (S5 and S6). When power cannot be charged, power is charged to not only the secondary battery 3 but also a charging and discharging device 6 (S7-S9). However, when power is not sufficiently charged, the output power of the fuel cell 4a is restricted by the amount of extra power (S7, and S10-S12).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】モータの回生制御時において余剰電力が発生した場合であっても、燃料電池の燃料極や空気極の触媒層上の酸化還元反応を抑制でき、これにより触媒層の白金凝集・溶出に起因する劣化を確実に防止できる車両用燃料電池の電力制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両走行中のアクセル戻し操作に応じたモータ2の回生制御時において、その回生電力Wmot及び燃料電池4aの出力電力の全てを2次電池3に充電可能な場合には2次電池3に充電し(S5,6)、充電不能な場合には2次電池3に加えて充放電装置6に充電し(S7〜9)、それでも充電しきれない場合には余剰電力分だけ燃料電池4aの出力電力を制限する(S7,10〜12)。【選択図】図3
