PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict a dischargeable time of a battery regardless of the magnitude of a discharge amount, the level of temperature, or the state of health.SOLUTION: In a database 100, a correspondence table showing relation among an on-vehicle lead battery's SOC, discharge current I, and dischargeable time Time is registered for each combination of the battery's temperature T and SOH. A calculation unit 101 includes: a SOH calculation unit 101a for calculating the lead battery's SOH; a SOC calculation unit 101b for calculating the lead battery's SOC; and a dischargeable time calculation unit 101c that on the basis of measurement results of the temperature T and state of health SOH, selects a correspondence table from the database 100 and applies measurement and calculation results of the discharge current I and state of charge SOC to the correspondence table to estimate a dischargeable time Time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
