The method is applied to a battery system, the battery system comprises a main positive relay, a main negative relay and a pre-charging relay, and the method comprises the following steps: starting to power on, and completing a power-on step; detecting a first voltage difference between the power supply side and the load side of the main negative relay; judging whether the main negative relay is closed or not according to the first voltage difference; detecting a second voltage difference between the power supply side of the main positive relay and the power supply side of the main negative relay, and detecting a third voltage difference between the load side of the main positive relay and the power supply side of the main negative relay; and judging whether the main positive relay is closed or not according to the difference value of the second voltage difference and the third voltage difference.
