PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow positional information to be obtained with a little power consumption.SOLUTION: In one embodiment, a mobile electronic device includes: a communication unit as an information acquisition unit for acquiring information from a roadside device; a storage as a storage unit; and a controller for obtaining positional information of the roadside device on the basis of the information from the roadside device acquired by the communication unit, and causes the storage unit to store the acquired positional information as positional information of the mobile electronic device when it obtained the information from the roadside device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
