PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress variation in a steering angle due to steering that is not intended by a driver while a vehicle travels on a target travel track, in the vehicle in which steering reactive force to be exerted to the steering wheel in a direction to return the vehicle to the target travel track is increased proportionately as the vehicle departs farther from the target travel track.SOLUTION: A drive support method includes: increasing steering reactive force to be exerted to a steering wheel 1a in a direction to return a vehicle to a target travel track proportionately, the vehicle including the steering wheel 1a and mechanically-separated steering-wheels 5FL and 5FR, as a departing amount of the vehicle departing from the target travel track increases (S6, S9); and reducing responsiveness of steering of the steering-wheels 5FL and 5FR relative to steering of the steering wheel 1a (S5, S9, S20), in a case where a departing amount is smaller than the case where the departing amount is large.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】目標走行軌道から離れるほど車両を目標走行軌道に戻す方向へステアリングホイールに付与する操舵反力を増加させる車両において、車両が目標走行軌道上を走行している間の運転者が意図しない操舵による転舵角の変動を抑制する。【解決手段】運転支援方法では、機械的に切り離された操向輪5FL、5FRとステアリングホイール1aとを有する車両が目標走行軌道から外れる逸脱量が増加するほど、車両を目標走行軌道に戻す方向へステアリングホイール1aに付与する操舵反力を増加させる(S6、S9)。逸脱量が大きい場合より逸脱量が小さい場合には、ステアリングホイール1aの操舵に対する操向輪5FL、5FRの転舵の応答性を低減する(S5、S9、S20)。【選択図】図1
