PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an ATC onboard system that does not bring about a receiving dead section for an ATC signal.SOLUTION: An onboard system for automatic train control includes: power receivers (21A and 21B) that detect a magnetic field incurred by a current and receive a control signal contained in the current; speed detecting means (22) that detects a train speed; and signal receiving control means (23) that performs train speed control on the basis of the signals received by the power receivers and a detection signal sent from the speed detecting means. The onboard system is mounted on a vehicle that travels on rails which have block sections and onto which a current containing a control signal (ATC signal) is fed from a ground apparatus for automatic train control in each of the block sections. The power receivers are disposed to be opposed to an axle (31, X) located most closely to the fore part of the vehicle so that the power receivers can receive the control signal contained in the current which flows from one of the rails to the other rail via the axle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】ATC信号の受信死区間を生じさせないATC車上装置を実現する。【解決手段】電流によって生じる磁界を検知して電流に含まれる制御信号を受信するための受電器(21A,21B)と、列車速度を検出するための速度検出手段(22)と、前記受電器で受信した信号および前記速度検出手段からの検出信号に基づいて列車速度制御を行う受信制御手段(23)とを備え、閉塞区間が設けられ各閉塞区間のレールには制御信号(ATC信号)を含む電流が自動列車制御用地上装置から流される鉄道レール上を走行する車両に搭載された自動列車制御用車上装置において、前記受電器を、車両の最も先頭寄りの車軸(31,X)に対向するように設置し、一方のレールから前記車軸を経由して他方のレールへ流れる電流に含まれる制御信号を受信可能に構成した。【選択図】図4
