PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge state display device with which a user can easily understand a standby time up to charge start time of an electric car.SOLUTION: A charge state display device 10 includes a direction indicator 26 which is a display part capable of being visually recognized from the outside of an electric car. A timer setting part 1202 accepts setting of a charge start time to a battery of the electric car. A connection detecting part 1204 detects connection of an external charge connector to the electric car. A display control part 1206 displays a standby time up to the charge start time on a display part when a connection of the external charge connector to the electric car is detected by the connection detecting part 1204.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
