PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress erroneous intervention of EBD control when a rear wheel climbs over a step.SOLUTION: A brake controlling device for a vehicle includes wheel deceleration calculating means 120 which calculates a wheel deceleration of each wheel, and front and rear wheel braking force distribution controlling means 140 which executes front and rear wheel braking force distribution control for distributing the brake forces of the front and rear wheels. The front and rear wheel braking force distribution controlling means 140 starts front and rear wheel braking force distribution control when an absolute value of a wheel deceleration of the front wheel is a first threshold value or more, and an absolute value of a wheel deceleration of the rear wheel is a second threshold value or more, with respect to any one of the right and left front and rear wheels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
