The invention provides a control method of a disc brake device for a vehicle, which can inhibit the condition that a brake pad is frozen or rusted due to residual water, thereby improving the operation safety of the disc brake device for the vehicle. The disc brake device for a vehicle includes: a disc rotor that rotates about a rotation shaft; a pair of brake pads provided on both sides of the outer periphery of the disc rotor so as to face each other in the axial direction parallel to the rotating shaft, and each having a friction portion provided facing the friction surface of the disc rotor; and the heating part is arranged on the friction part. The control method of the disc brake device for the vehicle comprises the steps of heating the heating part, and heating the brake pad through the heated heating part.
