PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle and a control method therefor, which reduce a vibration due to couple force generated in a propeller shaft when starting the vehicle and accelerating it from a low speed.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes a hybrid system 20 having a motor-generator 21 connected to a propeller shaft 33 for transmitting power of an engine 10 to a drive wheel 35. Further, a control apparatus 70 monitors, via a rotation speed sensor 64, a vibration due to couple force generated in the propeller shaft 33, and in the case of the vibration being generated, controls output torque Tm of the motor-generator 21 so as to increase or decrease in a positive range in accordance with the vibration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
