PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile object recognition system that identifies a mobile body in response to a reflection wave of a millimeter wave radar and enables an operator to avoid something to jump out from a region of a dead angle of the millimeter wave radar.SOLUTION: A mobile object recognition system of the present invention recognizes a mobile body in a dead angle in a radar detection region by deleting, from information on a communication device obtained by infrastructure communication, information on the mobile body detected with a millimeter wave radar from positional information on the communication device obtained by infrastructure communication between vehicles, between a road and a vehicle, or between a vehicle and a pedestrian, and the positional information on the mobile object detected by the millimeter wave radar, and predicts behavior from movement information on the mobile object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ミリ波レーダの反射波に応じて移動体を識別する移動体認識システムでは、ミリ波レーダの死角となる領域からの飛出しに対する回避を行うことができなかった。【解決手段】本発明の移動体認識システムでは、車車間や路車間、または歩車間のインフラ通信により取得した通信機の位置情報とミリ波レーダによって検出された移動体の位置情報とから、ミリ波レーダによって検出された移動体の情報を、インフラ通信により取得した通信機の情報から削除することによって、レーダ検知領域の死角に存在する移動体を認識し、その移動体の移動情報から挙動を予測するようにした。【選択図】図2
