PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lip-shaped seal member capable of reducing environmental load and having flexibility and strength, and a hydraulic master cylinder for a vehicle using the lip-shaped seal member.SOLUTION: A lip-shaped seal member 82a has a base portion 821, and a lip portion 822 endlessly projecting from the base portion 821, and the lip-shaped seal member 82a liquid-tightly and slidably presses the lip portion 822 to a sealed face. The lip-shaped seal member 82a is composed of a rubber composition including 0.1-60 pts.mass of at least one of oxidized cellulose fiber and cellulose nanofiber to 100 pts.mass of rubber, and carbon black. An average value of a fiber diameter of the oxidized cellulose fiber is 10 μm-30 μm, and an average value of a fiber diameter of cellulose nanofiber is 1 nm-200 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】 本発明は、環境負荷を低減しかつ柔軟性と強さを備えたリップ状シール部材及び該リップ状シール部材を用いた車両用液圧マスタシリンダを提供する。【解決手段】 リップ状シール部材82aは、ベース部821と、そのベース部821から無端状に突出形成されたリップ部822と、を有し、リップ部822を被シール面に対して液密にかつ摺動可能に押圧するリップ状シール部材82aである。リップ状シール部材82aは、ゴム100質量部に対し、酸化セルロース繊維及びセルロースナノファイバーの少なくとも一方を0.1質量部〜60質量部と、カーボンブラックと、含むゴム組成物からなる。酸化セルロース繊維は、繊維径の平均値が10μm〜30μmであり、セルロースナノファイバーは、繊維径の平均値が1nm〜200nmである。【選択図】図2
