To provide a seal member which can be manufactured without using a molding die, has excellent followability and transformation properties along a curved shape of a wheel arch to be mounted, and can exhibit high sealing properties.SOLUTION: A seal member 1 includes a seal base body part 2 abutting on a mounting surface 108 of a wheel arch 103 and a hollow seal lip part 3 which is mounted on the seal base body part 2, and in which a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the seal member 1 has a hollow shape. The seal base body part 2 and the hollow seal lip part 3 are formed by being integrally extruded in the longitudinal direction of the seal member 1, and the seal base body part 2 and the hollow seal lip part 3 are constituted by using a soft sponge material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】成形用金型を用いることなく製造することが可能であり、かつ取設対象となるホイールアーチの曲線形状に沿って良好な追従性や変形性を有し、かつ、高いシール性を発揮可能なシール部材の提供を課題とする。【解決手段】シール部材1は、ホイールアーチ103の取設面108と当接するシール基体部2と、シール基体部2に取設され、シール部材1の長手方向に対する直交方向の断面が中空形状を呈する中空シールリップ部3とを具備し、シール基体部2及び中空シールリップ部3は、シール部材1の長手方向に沿って一体的に押し出されることによって形成され、シール基体部2及び中空シールリップ部3は、軟質スポンジ材料を用いて構成される。【選択図】図3
