PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge cargo handling device which reduces the possibility of occurrence of a large scale damage at the time of an earthquake.SOLUTION: A bridge cargo handling device 1 for performing cargo handling work by a cargo handling part 4 comprises: a pair of traveling devices 16A, 16B respectively provided on a pair of rails 50A, 50B; a pair of leg parts 10A, 10B respectively provided on the traveling devices 16A, 16B; a girder 3 provided in the leg parts 10A, 10B and provided with a cargo handling part 4; a beam part 12 bridged between the leg parts 10A, 10B and connected to the leg parts 10A, 10B; and a connection mechanism 41 interposed in a connection between the leg part 10A and the beam part 12 and allowing relative movement of the leg part 10A and the beam part 12 when a predetermined force is applied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
