PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned aircraft position estimation method and system for estimating a position where an unmanned aircraft flies, even when a GPS signal cannot be received, without significantly increasing a weight of the unmanned aircraft.SOLUTION: A two-dimensional laser radar 2 with small power consumption is mounted on an unmanned aircraft 1, and two-dimensional measurement data is acquired from a surface where the unmanned aircraft flies. The two-dimensional measurement data is input to a learned neural network 3 which is prepared in advance, for quickly inspecting in which virtual rectangular prism cell the unmanned aircraft exists, so that, by performing pattern matching with the two-dimensional measurement data in the determined cell, the position can be quickly identified at a pin point. Compared with a case in which, pattern matching is performed between whole area of a three-dimensional land form pattern and the two-dimensional measurement data, a position of the unmanned aircraft can be quickly estimated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】無人航空機の重量を大幅に増加させることなく、GPS信号が受信できない場合でも無人航空機が飛行している位置を推定することを可能とする無人航空機位置推定方法及びシステムを提供する。【解決手段】無人航空機1に消費電力が少ない2次元レーザレーダ2を搭載し、無人航空機が飛行している地表から2次元測定データを取得する。2次元測定データを予め準備してある学習済みニューラルネットワーク3に入力することにより、どの仮想直方体セルにいるかを迅速に調べることができるため,求まったセル内で2次元測定データとのパターンマッチングを行うことで位置をピンポイントで迅速に特定することが可能である。3次元地形図の全域と2次元測定データとのパターンマッチングを行った場合に比べて迅速に位置の推定が可能となる。【選択図】 図1
