PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve visibility for a driver through a pillar part while reinforcing the pillar part.SOLUTION: A front pillar is configured so that, a pair of side parts of a pillar part 32 are opaque parts formed of an opaque resin material, a reinforcement beam 50 is extended between the pair of side parts, and the reinforcement beam 50 is integrated with an outside transparent part 44A. Therefore, the pillar part 32 is reinforced by the reinforcement beam 50. In view from inside of a vehicle width direction, a cross section of the reinforcement beam 50 is a quadrilateral shape, and an upper face 50C and a lower face 50D of the reinforcement beam 50 extend along a vehicle cross direction. Therefore, compared with a case in which the upper face 50C and the lower face 50D are inclined to an upper side (or a lower side) as going to a front side, it is possible to secure a cross sectional area of the reinforcement beam 50 while setting a height of the reinforcement beam 50 in a vertical direction to low height. Therefore, a reinforcement function as the reinforcement beam 50 can be secured while suppressing increase of the height of the reinforcement beam 50 in the vertical direction, which disturbs a visual field of a driver.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】ピラー部を補強しつつ運転者のピラー部を通した視認性を向上する。【解決手段】フロントピラーでは、ピラー部32の一対の側部が、不透明の樹脂材で構成された不透明部とされ、一対の側部の間に、補強梁50が架け渡されて、補強梁50が外側透明部44Aと一体に形成されている。これにより、補強梁50によってピラー部32が補強されている。ここで、車幅方向内側から見て、補強梁50の断面形状が四角形状を成しており、補強梁50の上面50C及び下面50Dが車両前後方向に沿って延在されている。このため、上面50C及び下面50Dが、仮に前側へ向かうに従い上側(又は下側)へ傾斜された場合と比べて、上下方向における補強梁50の高さを低く設定しつつ、補強梁50の断面積を確保することができる。これにより、運転者Pの視界を妨げる補強梁50の上下方向の高さが高くなることを抑制しつつ、補強梁50としての補強機能を確保できる。【選択図】図1
