PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction-driven carriage conveying conveyor that can be applied in conveying transversely objects to be conveyed such as vehicles whose bodies are long in a longitudinal direction such as a bus and a microbus, in which carriages and a friction-driven device can be easily downsized and a work floor surface near the center of a line can be easily made flat.SOLUTION: A carriage conveying conveyor 10 comprises a plurality of carriages 1 on which are loaded objects W to be conveyed, and a friction-driven device 2 having a feed roller 22 which contacts with the carriages, which connects the carriages to each other and then moves the carriages along a conveying path 3. At a lower end 111 of the carriage 1 is provided an operation bar 13 arranged so that the side surface 13a thereof contacts with the feed roller 22 and the upper surface 13c thereof is arranged to be flush with the work floor surface 5, where front and rear ends of the operation bar 13 is formed so as to contact with a front end and rear end of operation bars 13 of adjacent carriages 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
