PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a temperature rising of an electric motor and a driving circuit which occurs due to continuous conduction to a specific coil and a switching element in a locking state where a rotation of the electric motor stops.SOLUTION: A motor controller comprises: an electric motor that drives an application mechanism TFK for applying a torque to a wheel of a vehicle, and includes three coils CLU, CLV, and CLW; a driving circuit DRV that individually supplies a current to three coils CLU, CLV, and CLW; and control means CTL that controls the driving circuit DRV on the basis of an operation amount Bpa of an operation member of the vehicle, and adjusts an output of the electric motor. When the vehicle is stopped, the control means CTL executes a swinging control FLC that periodically increases and decreases a rotational motion of the electric motor even when a constant state of the operation amount Bpa is continued after the operation amount Bpa is constant, and the rotational motion of the electric motor is stopped by balancing a force that application mechanism TFK applies and the application mechanism TFK receives.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
