PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle suspension device and a spring rigidity change method of the same, which can easily improve riding feeling when body weight is changed according to number of passengers by a simple mechanism utilizing a part of an existing configuration.SOLUTION: A vehicle suspension device comprises: an air spring which is installed between a truck and a vehicle body of the vehicle; a main air tank which includes a pneumatic power source supplying the air spring with compressed-air; a subsidiary air tank which communicates with the air spring; an air quantity regulating valve which opens/closes an air flow passage communicating with the subsidiary air tank to change spring rigidity of the air spring; body weight detection means which detects weight of the vehicle body; and a controller which controls the air quantity regulating valve based on a travel position of the vehicle and the body weight detected by the body weight detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】この発明は、既存の構成の一部を利用した簡易な機構によって、乗客数に応じて車体重量が変化した場合にも、車両の乗り心地を容易に改善することができる、車両サスペンション装置及び車両サスペンション装置におけるばね剛性変更方法を提供する。【解決手段】車両の台車と車体との間に設けられた空気ばねと、この空気ばねに圧縮空気を供給する空気源を有するメイン空気タンクと、空気ばねに連通された補助空気タンクと、該補助空気タンクに連通される空気流路を開閉して空気ばねのばね剛性を変更する空気量調整バルブと、車体の重量を検出する車体重量検出手段と、車両の走行位置と車体重量検出手段で検出された車体重量とに基づき、空気量調整バルブを制御する制御部と、を具備する。【選択図】図2
