PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned movable body that can reduce an impact from noise and acquire an output signal with high-S/N ratio, and to provide an inspection method using an unmanned movable body.SOLUTION: The unmanned movable body 8 that is movable to inspect an inspection subject includes: inspection equipment 14 for inspecting an inspection subject; an electrical line 16 extending toward the inspection subject and becoming at least a ground line for the inspection equipment 14; a connection mechanism 17 installed to the electrical line 16 and connected to the inspection subject to electrically connect the electrical line 16 to the inspection subject; and a wind up mechanism 15 for winding up the electrical line 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
