PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an abnormality of a gain related to a plurality of current sensors or a plurality of voltage sensors.SOLUTION: An abnormality detection device for electric power steering comprises: a motor for generating turning forces of wheels; a plurality of current sensors for outputting current signals which are obtained by multiplying gains by amplitudes corresponding to magnitudes of currents which flow in a plurality of phases of the motor; a plurality of voltage sensors for outputting voltage signals which are obtained by multiplying gains by amplitudes corresponding to magnitudes of voltages which are generated at the plurality of phases of the motor; a motor rotation angle calculation part which calculates a rotation angle of the motor on the basis of the current signals from the plurality of current sensors and the voltage signals from the plurality of voltage sensors; and an abnormality determination part which determines that abnormalities occur in the gains related to the plurality of current sensors or the plurality of voltage sensors when a state that a calculation value is not changed is continued after the calculation value is changed by a constant amount or larger on the basis of a time series of the calculation value of the motor rotation angle by the motor rotation angle calculation part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】複数の電流センサ又は複数の電圧センサに係るゲインの異常を検出すること。【解決手段】電動パワーステアリング用異常検出装置は、車輪の転舵力を発生するモータと、モータの複数相に流れる電流の大きさに応じた振幅にゲインを乗じた電流信号を出力する複数の電流センサと、モータの複数相に発生する電圧の大きさに応じた振幅にゲインを乗じた電圧信号を出力する複数の電圧センサと、複数の電流センサからの各電流信号及び複数の電圧センサからの各電圧信号に基づいて、モータの回転角を算出するモータ回転角算出部と、モータ回転角算出部によるモータ回転角の算出値の時系列に基づいて、算出値が一定量以上変化した後、算出値が変化しない状態が継続した場合に、複数の電流センサ又は複数の電圧センサに係るゲインに異常があると判定する異常判定部とを含む。【選択図】図2
