PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a user having boarding intention with a wide range, and to reflect a detection result on opening/closing control of a door.SOLUTION: A boarding detection system for an elevator according to one embodiment comprises imaging means, motion detecting means, position estimation means, speed calculation means, boarding intention estimation means and control means. The position estimation means extracts a block nearest to a door out of blocks having motion detected by the motion detecting means for each image, and estimates a coordinate position in a landing hall direction from a center of the door in the block as a position of a user. The speed calculation means calculates a speed of movement in a door direction of the user based on time series variations of the position of the user estimated. The boarding intention estimation means estimates presence/absence of boarding intention of the user based on the time series variations of the position of the user estimated and the speed of movement in the door direction of the user calculated.     【課題】乗車意思のある利用者を広範囲に正確に検知してドアの開閉制御に反映させる。【解決手段】一実施形態に係るエレベータの乗車検知システムは、撮像手段、動き検知手段、位置推定手段、速さ算出手段、乗車意思推定手段及び制御手段を備えている。位置推定手段は、動き検知手段によって検知された動きありのブロックの中からドアに最も近いブロックを画像毎に抽出し、当該ブロックにおけるドアの中心から乗場方向の座標位置を利用者の位置として推定する。速さ算出手段は、推定された利用者の位置の時系列変化に基づいて当該利用者のドア方向への移動の速さを算出する。乗車意思推定手段は、推定された利用者の位置の時系列変化と、算出された利用者のドア方向への移動の速さとに基づいて利用者の乗車意思の有無を推定する。制御手段は、推定結果に基づいてドアの開閉動作を制御する。【選択図】図1
