PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body rear structure capable of preventing entering of a battery to a rear seat due to the input of collision load.SOLUTION: In a vehicle body rear structure, a battery 30 is installed in a rear floor pan 16, and a cross member 22 as a first reinforcement member and a reinforcement member 26 as a second reinforcement member are provided under the rear floor pan 16. The cross member 22 extends in a manner that a vehicle width direction is set to a longitudinal direction. The reinforcement member 26 extends in a manner that a vehicle longitudinal direction is set to a longitudinal direction on a vehicle rear side of the cross member 22. A projecting member 40 as an engaging section is provided at an end 26A on a vehicle front side of the reinforcement member 26. The cross member 22 is provided with a recessed member 44 which faces the projecting member 40 as an engaged section engaged with the projecting member 40. The reinforcement member 26 is provided with a fragile section 42. The fragile section 42 bends the reinforcement member 26 toward a vehicle upper side due to the input of collision load to the reinforcement member 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】衝突荷重の入力による後部座席へのバッテリの侵入を防ぐことができる車体後部構造を提供する。【解決手段】車体後部構造は、リアフロアパン16にバッテリ30が設置され、リアフロアパン16の下に第1補強部材としてのクロスメンバ22及び第2補強部材としての補強メンバ26を備えている。クロスメンバ22は車両幅方向を長手方向として延在する。補強メンバ26は、クロスメンバ22よりも車両後方側に車両前後方向を長手方向として延在する。補強メンバ26の車両前方側の端部26Aに係合部としての凸状部材40が設けられる。一方、クロスメンバ22には、凸状部材40に対向して、凸状部材40に係合される被係合部としての凹状部材44が設けられている。そして、補強メンバ26には脆弱部42が設けられる。脆弱部42は、補強メンバ26への衝突荷重の入力により、補強メンバ26を車両上方側へ向けて屈曲させる。【選択図】図2
