The present invention provides a vehicle body rear structure capable of stably suppressing movement of a spare tire in the direction of a passenger compartment when an impact load is input from the rear of a vehicle. A vehicle body rear structure is provided with a rear floor panel (11), a floor panel reinforcing member (20), and a traction load receiving section. The rear bottom plate (11) is provided with the spare tire (16) transversely arranged on the upper surface side, and the approximate center part of the spare tire (16) is fixed. The bottom plate reinforcing member (20) is fixed to the lower surface of the rear bottom plate (11). The traction load receiving part protrudes downwards from the rear part of the rear bottom plate (11) through the bottom plate reinforcing member. At least a part of the bottom plate reinforcing member extends from the supporting position of the traction load bearing part to the position closer to the front side of the vehicle than the fixing position of the spare tire (16). A deformation-facilitating portion (22) having a lower bending strength than the front and rear regions is provided in a reinforcing region in which the rear bottom plate is reinforced by the bottom plate reinforcing member at a position forward of a fixing position of the spare tire (16).

    本发明提供在来自车辆后方的冲击载荷的输入时能够稳定地抑制备胎向乘员室方向的移动的车身后部结构。车身后部结构具备后底板(11)、底板加强构件(20)及牵引载荷承受部。后底板(11)在上表面侧横置地配置有备胎(16)且将备胎(16)的大致中心部固定。底板加强构件(20)固定于后底板(11)的下表面。牵引载荷承受部经由底板加强构件从后底板(11)的后部向下方突出。底板加强构件的至少一部分从牵引载荷承受部的支承位置向比备胎(16)的固定位置靠车辆前方侧的位置延伸。在由底板加强构件对后底板加强的加强区域中的比备胎(16)的固定位置靠前方侧的位置设置有与前后的区域相比抗弯强度低的变形容易部(22)。
