PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit a rear-end collision load to a front side of a vehicle body.SOLUTION: A vehicle body rear part structure 10 comprises left and right reinforcing members 24 arranged in a front-back direction, as a longitudinal direction, inside in a vehicle-body width direction of rear parts of left and right rear side members 14 and at a rear side of the vehicle body of a rear suspension member 22. At least parts of respective front end parts of the left and right reinforcing members 24 overlap with left and right side parts 22A of the rear suspension member 22 when viewed from the vehicle body front-back direction. This causes the left and right reinforcing members 24 to engage with the left and right side parts 22A from a vehicle body rear side at a rear side collision, so that a rear part collision load is transmitted through the left and right reinforcing members 24 and the left and right side parts 22A to a front side of the vehicle body. The reinforcing members 24, in which ridge lines 46 and 48 extending linearly in the vehicle body front-back direction are formed across front end parts and rear end parts so that rigidity to the rear-side collision load is enhanced, can efficiently transmit the rear-part collison load to the front side of the vehicle body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】後突荷重を車体前方側に効率良く伝達する。【解決手段】車体後部構造10は、左右のリヤサイドメンバ14の後部の車体幅方向内側かつリヤサスペンションメンバ22の車体後方側に、車体前後方向を長手方向として配置された左右の補強メンバ24を備えている。左右の補強メンバ24は、各前端部の少なくとも一部がリヤサスペンションメンバ22の左右のサイド部22Aに対して車体前後方向視で重なっている。このため、後面衝突時には、左右の補強メンバ24が左右のサイド部22Aに対して車体後方側から係合することにより、後突荷重が左右の補強メンバ24及び左右のサイド部22Aを介して車体前方側に伝達される。これらの補強メンバ24は、車体前後方向に直線状に延びる稜線部46、48が前端部から後端部にわたって形成されることにより、後突荷重に対する剛性が高くなっているため、後突荷重を車体前方側に効率良く伝達することができる。【選択図】図1
