PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a bird's-eye video capable of appropriately checking an area surrounding a vehicle even when using a rectangular display device.SOLUTION: A bird's-eye video generation device comprises: a video acquisition part 41 for acquiring a peripheral video in which a periphery of a vehicle V is captured; a peripheral information acquisition part 42 for acquiring peripheral information of the vehicle V; a vehicle information acquisition part 43 for acquiring vehicle information to estimate a move of the vehicle V in a turning direction; and a control part 44 for generating a bird's-eye video B including a virtual own vehicle image A on the basis of the peripheral video, estimating the move of the vehicle V in the turning direction on the basis of the peripheral information acquired by the peripheral information acquisition part 42 and the vehicle information acquired by the vehicle information acquisition part 43, and if any information to be noticed is present around the vehicle when the vehicle moves in the turning direction, generating the bird's-eye video B inclined in a direction so that a side surface P1 on an outer ring side in the turning direction in the virtual own vehicle image A is positioned above a side surface P2 on an inner ring side.
