PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure convenience by causing a portable device to reliably receive a radio signal transmitted from an on-vehicle device even when noise exists, in a vehicle communication system comprising the portable device and the on-vehicle device.SOLUTION: In an on-vehicle device 10, an on-vehicle device transmission unit 2 transmits a response request signal. In a portable device 20, a portable device transmission unit 23 transmits a response signal in response to the reception of the response request signal by a portable device reception unit 22. The on-vehicle device 10 permits or inhibits operation of a door lock device 5 of a vehicle 30 on the basis of the response signal received by the on-vehicle device reception unit 3. In the portable device 20, a noise detection unit 21a detects noise. When the portable device reception unit 22 cannot receive the responce request signal, the portable device transmission unit 23 transmits a retransmission request signal for requesting for retransmission of the response request signal. In the on-vehicle device 10, when the on-vehicle device reception unit 3 receives the retransmission request signal, a transmission frequency switching unit 2b switches a transmission frequency of the response request signal, and the on-vehicle device transmission unit 2 re-transmits the response request signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】携帯機と車載機から成る車両通信システムにおいて、ノイズが存在していても、車載機から送信した無線信号を携帯機で確実に受信して、利便性を確保する。【解決手段】車載機10は車載機送信部2により応答要求信号を送信し、携帯機20は携帯機受信部22による応答要求信号の受信に応じて、携帯機送信部23により応答信号を送信し、車載機10が車載機受信部3により受信した応答信号に基づいて、車両30のドアロック装置5の作動が許可または禁止される。携帯機20は、ノイズ検出部21aによりノイズを検出して、携帯機受信部22により応答要求信号を受信できない場合に、応答要求信号の再送を要求する再送要求信号を携帯機送信部23により送信する。車載機10は、車載機受信部3により再送要求信号を受信した場合に、送信周波数切替部2bにより応答要求信号の送信周波数を切り替えて、車載機送信部2により応答要求信号を再送する。【選択図】図1
