PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic object detection device with which it is possible to suppress false detection of an object without narrowing the selection width of transmission time.SOLUTION: Provided is an ultrasonic object detection device comprising a plurality of ultrasonic object detection units (10) mounted in a vehicle, each of the units being provided with a transmission/reception part (13) for transmitting an ultrasonic signal and receiving a reflection signal as a reflected wave from an object, a regulation part (11) for regulating the transmission interval of a plurality of transmit signals transmitted in one routine by the transmission/reception part, a rejection part (15) for rejecting a reflection signal at a reception interval that does not correspond to the transmission interval, and a detection part (17) for detecting an object around the vehicle on the basis of the reflection signal processed by the rejection part, the regulation part being provided with a control part (20) that makes the regulation part execute a first regulation to regulate the transmission interval so that a transmission interval when one of the adjacent units transmits a transmit signal and a transmission interval when the other of the adjacent units transmits a transmit signal thereafter are different.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
