PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerial type inspection device and inspection method that allow use of downsized unmanned aircrafts to conduct an inspection while controlling an angle and distance relative to a plane-like inspection object.SOLUTION: An aerial type inspection device 1 comprises: a downsized unmanned aircraft 91 that includes a plurality of rotary wings 911 and a control unit; an inspection unit 30 that is attached to the downsized unmanned aircraft 91, and contactlessly inspects a state of an object surface; and a range-finder unit 20 that measures an object distance serving as a distance to the object surface with respect to a plurality of measurement directions. The control unit comprises estimation means that estimates a facing surface parameter composed of an angle with respect to the object surface of the inspection unit 30 and the distance from the object surface at the angle on the basis of the object distance measured by the range-finder unit 20. The aerial type inspection device 1 is configured to: move the downsized unmanned aircraft 91 along the object surface as fixedly maintaining the facing surface parameter with respect to the object surface of the inspection unit 30 on the basis of the estimation result; and conduct inspection by the inspection unit 30 with respect to a plurality of locations of the object surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】小型無人飛行機を利用して、面状の検査対象に対する角度および距離を制御しながら、検査を行うことができる飛行型検査装置および検査方法を提供する。【解決手段】複数の回転翼911と制御部とを有する小型無人飛行機91と、小型無人飛行機91に取り付けられ、対象面の状態を非接触にて検査する検査部30と、対象面までの距離である対象距離を複数の計測方向に対して計測する測距部20と、を備える飛行型検査装置1を用いる。制御部は、測距部20によって計測された対象距離に基づいて、検査部30の対象面に対する角度および該角度における対象面からの距離よりなる対面パラメータを推定する推定手段を備え、飛行型検査装置1は、その推定結果に基づいて、検査部30の対象面に対する対面パラメータを一定に維持しながら、対象面に沿って小型無人飛行機91を移動させ、対象面の複数の位置に対して検査部30による検査を行う。【選択図】図1
