PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize the construction of a wheel supporting double row tapered roller bearing unit to effectively prevent the occurrence of plastic deformation in a pilot part and a mounting flange during assembling work.SOLUTION: In a recess 17 formed in the radial inside of a pilot part 10 of a hub spindle 5a in the state of being recessed axially inward, at its portion axially overlapping with a cylindrical face part 12 and a caulked part 12 into which a pair of inner rings 3a, 3b are pressed, a support part 15 is provided which is protruded axially outward from the bottom face of the recess 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
