PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centralized variable sign system for connecting a control unit to a variable sign device by a public wireless communication service of a volume-based charging system, and for reducing forced communication disconnection generated due to a connection state, and for reducing use charge.SOLUTION: A plurality of variable sign devices 30 are communicatively connected via a free dedicated line 40, and one variable sign device 30 (main device 30-A) is connected via a public wireless line 20 to a control unit 10. The control unit transmits entire control information 50 in which control commands to each of the variable sign devices are integrated to the main device in each predetermined time shorter than a non-communication allowable time of the public wireless line. The main device generates individual control information 60 including control commands to each of the other variable sign devices (slave devices 30-B) on the basis of the received entire control information, and transmits it via the free dedicated line. Also, the control unit performs the disconnection and reconnection of communication via the public wireless line between the main device and itself in each predetermined time shorter than the forced disconnection time of the public wireless line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】制御機と可変標識装置とを従量課金制の公衆無線通信サービスで接続し、接続状態によって生じる強制的な通信切断を低減するとともに、利用料金を削減する集中可変標識システムを提供する。【解決手段】複数の可変標識装置30は、無料の専用回線40によって通信接続され、そのうちの1台の可変標識装置30(主装置30−A)が、公衆無線回線20で制御機10と接続される。制御機は、公衆無線回線の無通信許容時間より短い所定時間毎に、各可変標識装置に対する制御指令を集約した全体制御情報50を主装置へ送信する。主装置は、受信した全体制御情報に基づき、他の各可変標識装置(従装置30−B)に対する制御指令を含む個別制御情報60を生成し、無料の専用回線で送信する。また、制御機は、公衆無線回線の強制切断時間より短い所定時間毎に、主装置との間の公衆無線回線を介した通信の切断と再接続を行う。【選択図】図2
