PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light and compact vehicular motor drive device which is equipped with a parallel shaft gear reducer having a high gear reduction ratio capable of adopting a speed reducer input gear with a small diameter.SOLUTION: A vehicular motor drive devices 21, 71 is equipped with a motor portion A, a speed reducing portion B configured by a parallel shaft gear reducer 36, and a vehicular bearing portion C, and inputs the rotation driving force of the motor portion A and reduces rotation speed to be transmitted to a wheel side. Speed reducer input gears 30 and 80 of the parallel shaft gear speed reducer 36 integrally have a shaft portion 30a. An outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion 30a is made from taper surfaces 30b and 80b which are tapered. Motor rotary shafts 25 and 75 of the motor A have inner peripheral holes 25a and 75a. The inner peripheral holes 25a and 75a are made from taper surfaces 25b and 75b increasing a diameter toward the speed reducer input gears 30 and 80. Both taper surfaces 30b, 25b, 80b, and 75b are fitted to couple the speed reducer gears 30 and 80 and the motor rotary shafts 25 and 75.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 小径の減速機入力ギヤの採用を可能とした高減速比を有する平行軸歯車減速機を備えた軽量、コンパクトな車両用モータ駆動装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 モータ部Aと、平行軸歯車減速機36で構成された減速機部Bと、車輪用軸受部Cとを備え、モータ部Aの回転駆動力を減速部Bに入力し回転数を減速して車輪側に伝達する車両用モータ駆動装置21、71において、平行軸歯車減速機36の減速機入力ギヤ30、80が軸部30aを一体に有し、この軸部30aの外周面が先細となるテーパ面30b、80bからなり、モータ部Aのモータ回転軸25、75が内周孔25a、75aを有し、この内周孔25a、75aが減速機入力ギヤ30、80に向かって大径となるテーパ面25b、75bからなり、両テーパ面30b、25b、80b、75bが嵌合して、減速機入力ギヤ30、80とモータ回転軸25、75が連結されていることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
