PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode which enables the materialization of a nonaqueous electrolyte battery capable of showing superior input and output characteristics in a high state of charge.SOLUTION: An electrode 3 comprises: a first composite oxide consisting of a Na-containing niobium titanium composite oxide of an orthorhombic crystal type; and a second composite oxide expressed by the following general formula: LiNaTiO(where -0.2≤a≤2 and -0.2≤b≤0.2).
