PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which avoids the application of an unnecessary load to a connector and a vehicle in a charging station having a movable connector housing unit.SOLUTION: The charging station includes: a charger body; a movable connector housing unit having power supplied from the charger body; and a connector, disposed at the end of a cable extended from the movable connector housing unit, to supply the power to the vehicle. The movable connector housing unit includes: a storage sensor which detects whether or not the connector is returned to a predetermined position; and a lock unit which impedes the movement of the movable connector housing unit, when the storage sensor detects that the connector is not returned to the predetermined position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
