PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular energy absorption structure that includes a guide portion formed in a cylindrical energy absorption body comprising fiber-reinforced resin and can obtain stable energy absorption characteristics.SOLUTION: A cylindrical energy absorption body 14A comprising fiber-reinforced resin is provided on the vehicle rear side of a bumper RF 16. A peripheral wall 22 serving as a guide portion is fixed to the bumper RF 16. The peripheral wall 22 is configured to include corner portions 22A serving as abutment portions 50. At the time of vehicle collision, the abutment portions 50 are brought into contact with the energy absorption body from the inner side, so as to inhibit the energy absorption body from causing positional deviation from the bumper RF. The peripheral wall 22 is configured to include release portions 60. A gap G between the release portion 60 and each wall constituting the energy absorption body 14A is set to be larger than that between the abutment portion 50 and the wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】繊維強化樹脂から成る筒状のエネルギ吸収体の内部にガイド部を設けた車両のエネルギ吸収構造において、安定したエネルギ吸収特性を得ることができる車両のエネルギ吸収構造を提供する。【解決手段】バンパRF16の車両後方側に繊維強化樹脂から成る筒状のエネルギ吸収体14Aが設けられている。バンパRF16にはガイド部としての周壁22が固定されている。周壁22は当て部50としての角部22Aを含んで構成されおり、当て部50は、車両の衝突時にエネルギ吸収体に内側から接触することで、エネルギ吸収体がバンパRFに対して位置ズレを起こすことを抑制する。また、周壁22は逃がし部60を含んで構成されており、逃がし部60は、エネルギ吸収体14Aを構成する各壁との間隔Gが、当て部50と該壁との間隔よりも大きく設定されている。【選択図】図2
