PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device capable of improving the measurement accuracy of a self-position on the basis of information obtained from an on-vehicle device by communication between a pedestrian and a vehicle.SOLUTION: A terminal device performs radio communication with a plurality of, favorably at least three, on-vehicle devices mounted on vehicles, and obtains positional information on the respective on-vehicle devices. One example of radio communication is Wi-Fi direct communication. The terminal device calculates distance from each on-vehicle device on the basis of the electric field strength of a radio wave received by radio communication. Then, the terminal device measures a self-position, i.e. the position of the terminal device itself on the basis of the positional information on the plurality of on-vehicle devices and distance from the plurality of on-vehicle devices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】歩車間通信により車載機から取得した情報に基づいて、自己位置の測定精度を向上させることが可能な端末装置を提供する。【解決手段】端末装置は、車両に搭載された複数、好ましくは少なくとも3つの車載機と無線通信を行い、各車載機の位置情報を取得する。無線通信の一例はWiFiダイレクトによる通信である。また、端末装置は、無線通信により受信する電波の電界強度に基づいて、各車載機との距離を算出する。そして、端末装置は、複数の車載機の位置情報と、複数の車載機との距離とに基づいて自己位置、即ち端末装置自身の位置を測定する。【選択図】図9
