PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device capable of appropriately detecting the traffic violation of a vehicle at the time point when the vehicle enters a prescribed region.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 40 mounted on a particular vehicle 30 comprises a communication unit 41, a control unit 42, and a violation information recording unit 43. The communication unit 41 receives a violation detection instruction signal A1 from the outside of the vehicle when the particular vehicle 30 enters a prescribed region 60. The control unit 42 determines whether violation is committed or not on the basis of detection information detected by a vehicle state detection unit 31 that detects the state of the particular vehicle 30 upon receiving the violation detection instruction signal A1.     【課題】車両が所定領域に進入した時点で、その車両の交通違反を適切に検出することが可能な車載器を提供すること。【解決手段】車載器40は、特定車両30に搭載される車載器であって、通信部41と、制御部42と、違反情報記録部43と、を備える。通信部41は、所定領域60に特定車両30が進入する際に車外から違反検出指示信号A1を受ける。制御部42は、違反検出指示信号A1を受けると、特定車両30の状態を検出する車両状態検出部31によって検出された検出情報に基づいて違反の有無の判定を行う。違反情報記録部43は、違反有りと判定された場合、違反を記録する。【選択図】図2
