PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous mobile vehicle operation system capable of management of autonomous mobile vehicles in a manner that can respond to a call without causing a user to have discomfort related to waiting time in an entire region while operating each autonomous mobile vehicle in a small space.SOLUTION: An autonomous mobile vehicle operation system: sets territories in which autonomous mobile vehicles can reach calling places within predetermined waiting time; covers an area with a plurality of territories; determines the number of autonomous mobile vehicles allocated in each territory on the basis of a size thereof, moving speeds of the autonomous mobile vehicles therein, time required for the autonomous mobile vehicle to move from an edge of the territory to a center thereof and the waiting time until the autonomous mobile vehicle reaches an arbitrary calling place in the territory; and makes the autonomous mobile vehicles move among the plurality of territories in a manner that maintains a vehicle assignment density, defined by the size of the territory and the number of autonomous mobile vehicle assigned therein, at a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】1台の自律移動車を狭い空間内で運用しつつ、地域全域でユーザに待ち時間の不快感を与えることなく呼び出しに応じることができる自律移動車の運用システムを提供する。【解決手段】自律移動車が所定の呼び出し時間内で呼び出された地点に到達できるテリトリを設定し、地域を複数のテリトリで網羅し、テリトリの大きさと、テリトリ内を走行する自律移動車の移動速度と、テリトリの最縁部からテリトリ中心まで自律移動車が移動する際に要する時間と、テリトリ内の任意地点において自律移動車を呼び出す際に自律移動車が呼出し地点に到着するまでの待ち時間によって、テリトリ内に配置する自律移動車の台数を定め、テリトリの大きさとテリトリ内に配置される自律移動車の台数から定まる配置密度を所定値とするように、複数のテリトリ間で自律移動車を移動させる。【選択図】 図1
