PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear wheel steering device which is interposed in a suspension mechanism so as to steer rear wheels and can properly absorb vibration in a radial direction of a rod.SOLUTION: A rear wheel steering device of a vehicle includes: an electric motor stored in a housing; a speed reduction mechanism; and a direct-acting mechanism. The direct-acting mechanism has a nut member 36 and a rod 2 and converts a rotary motion of the nut member to a linear motion of the rod. The rod is screwed to the nut member and has one end connected to a second connection member (ball joint) and the other end which is extended from the nut member and is defined as a free end. An annular member 2x is held at the free end with a clearance in an axial direction and a radial direction of the rod. For example, a nut 2d is screwed to the free end of the nut member, the annular member 2x is fitted to the cylindrical body section 2da, and a snap ring 2y is locked to the cylindrical body section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
