PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door latch apparatus in which energizing time to electrical drive source is shortened under a state where a moving member contacts to a stopper and being held so that durability of the electrical drive source is improved.SOLUTION: A controlling apparatus of a door latch apparatus executes release drive control to motor 21 so that sector gear moves in release direction based on door operation by an operation switch and executes control to stop energization to the motor 21 when a latch rotates from full latch position to open position direction and a full latch detecting switch 13 makes its operation under a state where the sector gear contacts to a stopper part to be stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】移動部材がストッパに当接して拘束されている間の電気的駆動源への通電時間を短縮し、電気的駆動源の耐久性を向上させうるようにした車両用ドアラッチ装置を提供する。【解決手段】ドアラッチ装置の制御装置は、操作スイッチのドア操作に基づいて、セクタギヤがリリース方向へ移動するように、モータ21をリリース駆動制御し、セクタギヤがストッパ部に当接して停止した状態で、ラッチがフルラッチ位置からオープン位置方向へ回動しフルラッチ検出スイッチ13が作動したとき、モータ21への通電を停止させる制御を行う。【選択図】 図9
