PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both improvement in strength of a railway vehicle body structure for an off-set collision, and omission of a step related to smoothing of a weld zone between an end body structure and a side beam, and correction by putty.SOLUTION: An end body structure 3 includes a base part 3x disposed above an outside surface 5yb of a side beam 5y, and an extension part 3y extending along the outside surface 5yb of the side beam 5y downward from the base part 3x. The extension part 3y faces a region from an upper end 5yb1 to a lower end 5yb2 of the outside surface 5yb of the side beam 5y in a longitudinal direction of the body structure. The extension part 3y is welded with an upper surface 5ya and a lower surface 5yc of the side beam 5y through weld zones W1 and W2 respectively. A weld zone between the end body structure 3 and the side beam 5y is not provided on the outside surface 3b of the end body structure 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
