PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deceleration reverser enabled to perform a slow-speed navigation without bringing a clutch into slip engagement thereby to elongate the lifetime of the clutch.SOLUTION: A deceleration reverser 11 comprises: a changeover mechanism 18 for changing the drive power of a main engine 10 mounted on a hull into the forward, neutral or backward output; and an output shaft 15 for transmitting the output of the changeover mechanism 18 to a propeller 5. The deceleration reverser is equipped with an electric motor 30 for rotationally driving the output shaft 15 directly, as a drive source different from the main engine 10.     【課題】クラッチをスリップ係合することなく微速航行が可能になり、クラッチの長寿命化を図ることができる減速逆転機を提供する。【解決手段】減速逆転機11は、船体に搭載した主機関10の動力を前進、中立又は後進の出力に切り換える前後進切換機構18と、前後進切換機構18の出力をプロペラ5に伝達する出力軸15とを備える。出力軸15を直接に回転駆動させる電動モータ30を、主機関10とは別の駆動源として備える。電動モータ30によって出力軸15を低回転させるように構成する。【選択図】図2
