PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorption carbon fiber resin structure capable of increasing an EA amount by reliably, stably peeling and braking two end portions of a fiber-reinforced resin plate material in a thickness direction thereof when a compressive load is input.SOLUTION: Provided is a crash can 1 formed from a carbon fiber resin plate material 10 comprising: a plurality of first carbon fiber layers 20a arranged such that carbon fibers 21 to 23 extend in a front-back direction; and a plurality of second carbon fiber layers 20b arranged such that carbon fibers 24 and 25 extend to cross the carbon fibers 21 to 23 of these first carbon fiber layers 20a generally orthogonally, the crash can being configured such that first and second midway parts 14 and 15 each formed from the second carbon fiber layers 20b are provided in a portion near a left end and a portion near a right end of the carbon fiber resin plate material 10 in such a manner as to peel off first and second end portions 12 and 13 of the carbon fiber resin plate material 10 via the second carbon fiber layers 20b, respectively when a compressive load is input.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】圧縮荷重が入力されたとき、繊維強化樹脂板材の厚さ方向両端部を確実且つ安定的に剥離破壊させることにより、EA量を増加することができる衝撃吸収用炭素繊維樹脂構造体を提供する。【解決手段】前後方向に炭素繊維21〜23が延びるように配列された複数の第1炭素繊維層20aと、これら第1炭素繊維層20aの炭素繊維21〜23に略直交状に交差して炭素繊維24,25が延びるように配列された複数の第2炭素繊維層20bとを備えた炭素繊維樹脂板材10で形成されたクラッシュカン1であって、圧縮荷重が入力されたとき、炭素繊維樹脂板材10の第1,第2端部12,13を第2炭素繊維層20bを介して夫々剥離させるように、炭素繊維樹脂板材10の左端側近傍部分と右端側近傍部分とに第2炭素繊維層20bからなる第1,第2途中部14,15を夫々配設した。【選択図】 図2
