PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a resistance to carving of a tire sidewall without adversely affecting good crack resistance performance and low rolling resistance performance.SOLUTION: The tire sidewall has at least a part including a rubber composition comprising as a base at least a diene elastomer, a crosslinking system and a filler for reinforcement. The content of the filler for reinforcement in the composition varies in the range of 20 to 40 phr (pts.mass per 100 mass of elastomer), the volume fraction of the filler for reinforcement in the composition is in the range of 8.0% to 13.0% and the filler for reinforcement mainly includes carbon black or a mixture of carbon black each having a BET specific surface area in the range of 50 m/g to 69 m/g.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】タイヤ側壁のカービングに対する抵抗性を、良好な亀裂抵抗性能および低転がり抵抗性能に悪影響を及ぼすことなく改良する。【解決手段】本発明は、少なくともその1部分が、少なくとも、ジエンエラストマー、架橋系および補強用充填剤をベースとするゴム組成物を含むタイヤ側壁であって、上記組成物中の補強用充填剤の含有量が20〜40phr (エラストマー100質量当りの質量部)で変動し、上記組成物中の補強用充填剤の容量画分が8.0%〜13.0%の範囲にあること、並びにこの補強用充填剤が、主として、50m2/g〜69m2/gの範囲にあるBET比表面積を有するカーボンブラックまたはカーボンブラックの混合物を含むことを特徴とするタイヤ側壁に関する。【選択図】なし
